| Jerry and Cindy Busch became foster parents with another agency after first serving as respite providers. Both are employed in the special education field in the Mauston school district. The calm, caring and persistent approach they use has proved successful with the teen girls they bring into their home. Counties often specifically request their home. |

| Jenny and Jason are a younger couple with a young son of their own. Jenny has been a special education teacher and Jason has worked in construction. Jenny comes by this work naturally as both her cousin, and aunt and uncle, the Nofsinger families, were licensed with Family Works for many years. They have a lot of energy to give children and they provide kids opportunities to learn and do many things (help with remodeling projects, be involved with sports and extra curricular activities, etc). Jenny & Jason are foster parents of two teens boys. They do not intend to take more placements. Jenny and Jason own and operate the Longview Home for Boys, a group home affiliated with Family Works Programs, Inc. |

| Rick is from Westby and recently joined Family Works after providing respite care for us. He also provides adult family care. Rick like fishing, camping, and volunteering as a wrestling coach for him 10 year old son. He enjoys meeting and collaborating with other Family Work families. |

| Jennifer and David live in Richland Center and have three young biological children. David is part of an in-home counseling team, and Jennifer manages the foster home. They form a good team providing calm, caring, and persistent approach with the teenage boys placed in their home. Boys placed in their home have been involved in sports, working out at the gym at the community cente,r and going to the library is a couple blocks away. They often remain connected with children even after placements end. They have a big restored brick home with plenty of space for the children they nurture. |

| Russell and Sharon Jones are new to Family Works, but not new to foster parenting. Russell is home full-time and Sharon works out of the home part-time. They have adult children and grandchildren and many friends in their community. They have been foster parents for over 25 years and during this time mentored many children, many of whom still keep in contact with the Jones’ family. Russell and Sharon adopted one of the their former foster children. Russell was a foster child himself, and as such can relate to the trials that foster children often go through. |

| The Kalans live in Mauston and have almost 20 years of foster care experience. Sandy stays at home full time to care for their foster children. Gary is a veteran and a retired police officer. Both enjoy outdoor activities such as camping and fishing. Gary and Sandy work very well with their foster children's families. They are open to individual children as well as sibling groups. |

| Steve is a single-dad foster parent that became licensed specifically for a youth he had known for years. He stayed connected as a respite provider prior to having the young man move in with him. His easy-going nature and committement have been positive for this youth. Steve's license is child specific. |

| Jeff and April live in rural Richland county on a farm. Jeff runs a landscaping business and April is the lead person in managing their home. They form a good team providing calm, caring and persistent approach with the teenage boys they foster parent. Both April and Jeff have a good sense of humor and fun. The boys placed in their home have been involved in athletic school programs, picked blackberries and made jam, help make maple syrup, stack firewood and earned money doing farm or landscaping work. They have gardianship over a youth who was previously their foster son. Jeff and April have a kind and respectful approach to the children's families. |

| Wade is a single father of two older teens boys and a foster parent to teen boys as well. Wade has a natural instinct for working with children and has a calm, respectful manner, and seemingly endless patience. He runs a goat farm and has an abundance of other animals on the farm as well. |

| The Wirtses have often had four placements and have taken some extremely difficult children. They are very structured and very nurturing. The Wirtses’ have three adult children who live nearby and provide respite frequently. The family farm and cabin rental property offer many outlets for active youngsters. |
