Alexander - Located in Rock CountyLicensed since 2008
The Alexanders live in the small, quiet town of Evansville, just a short drive from either Madison or Janesville. Elisa is a special education teacher with the Oregon School District, heading up their transition program for 18- 21 year old students. Charlie is a welder. Both enjoy volunteering for Special Olympics and spending time with family and friends. The Alexanders have a tremendous amount of knowledge and sensitivity for children with cognitive delays, developmental disabilities, and other special needs. They currently have one foster daughter, who is with them long- term. They are working with her on independent living skills.

Allbee - Located in Grant CountyLicensed since 2009
The Allbees live in Hazel Green and have joined the southern cluster. They have five children and huge hearts. They have adopted in the past and are open to that again. Brenda owns and runs three childcare centers in southwestern Wisconsin and Mike works for a glass company in Dubuque, Iowa. They are a loving family that can handle a wide range of challenges. They work well with the families of children in their care.

Gaddis - Located in Dane CountyLicensed since 2005
Pat is a single mom who provided care for foster children through the county for 8 years before coming to Family Works in 2005. Her parenting style is respectful, direct, warm, and supportive. She has a great sense of humor and is very patient. Pat also has extensive training in Trauma Informed Care. Pat fosters girls and has done an exceptional job with teens.

Hipsher - Located in Rock CountyLicensed since 2006
Marie is a single parent of 4 children ages 4 to 17. Marie is a certified nursing assistant and a stay-at-home mom. She is open and engaging, with a terrific sense of humor. The family is used to a busy, active home and are ready for a foster child of either gender to join them. Marie specializes in caring for children with medical issues.

Hyke - Located in Jefferson CountyLicensed since 2005
The Hykes were licensed in 2005 with Family Works, but they were licensed for several years by another treatment foster care agency priour to that. The Hykes are both very involved with foster care and compliment each other well. Christina is a stay at home mom who is the primary foster parent during the day. Jim works in Pewaukee. They are very involved with horses, pets, photography, and family activities. The Hykes have one son, a former foster child, who they adopted in his late teens. They are open to adopting more foster children.

Johnson - Located in Dodge CountyLicensed since 2010
The Johnsons have been providing treatment foster care for the past six years. Donna stays at home full time to care for their children, and Ross is a truck driver. The Johnsons have a great sense of humor and are foster children's strongest advocates. They have kept their home open to a former foster son who is now an adult. They are open to short and long term care. The Johnsons specialize in fostering teen boys.

Jones, B&S - Located in Iowa CountyLicensed since 2003
Bob is the son of long term FW foster parents and grew up with many foster children. Bob and Sara have two children of their own and usually have two children in foster care. They enjoy spending time with kids and doing family activities and outings. They have taken some difficult foster children and have stayed committed to them. They also work well with challenging family situations. They are open to the possibility of adoption.

Young - Located in Jefferson CountyLicensed since 2001
Teresa has two children of her own and is in the process of adopting a foster child. One placement Teresa had was with a teen who had had multiple previous placements. Teresa did very well keeping her placement stable and with teaching independent living skills. Teresa helped her achieve graduation from high school. Teresa does prefer younger children who would like to participate in family activities, as their family enjoys being active and having fun together.
